This Theban Spirit Board is 13” across. No matter where you place the board inside, it makes an attractive addition to any table or counter. No metal is used in the final assembly of this spirit board, as some believe that metal can interfere with the flow of energies. Each Spirit Board comes with a planchette and instructions. Boards and planchettes have been infused with 9 different elements that are known to attract visitors from the other side. These elements include silver, crystal, and willow leafs.

This spirit board is hand crafted by DragonOak, "one who walks the pagan path". Dragonoak has studied methods of divination for over 20 years and now brings forth hand crafted items that are fitting for the field of divination.

Natural stains and finishes are used to protect the wood and highlight the beauty of natural wood.

Origin

The origins of the Theban alphabet are lost in the mists of time. It is often called "The Runes of Honorius" after its reputed inventor, Honorius of Thebes. It is also known as the 'Witch's Alphabet'.

There is a one-to-one correspondence between letters of the Theban and Latin alphabets with the exception of the letters j and u. These letters are represented by the letters for i and v.

The Theban alphabet is used by witches to write spells, inscriptions and other texts. It serves to disguise the meaning of a text and to give it a mystical quality.
